Conna Nursing and Convalescent Home is a purpose built facility with the most up-to-date design and furnishing features. It is a 50 bed unit offering respite, convalescence and long stay options. Set in safe, secure, beautiful extensive landscaped grounds, the nursing home enjoys all the advantages of a rural location on the edge of Conna village overlooking Conna Castle. Conna is long renowned for it's community spirit and scenic views along the banks of the river Bride.

 

All our staff are committed to delivering an excellent level of care. Qualified nurses are on duty 24 hours with support from care and housekeeping staff.

 

The building itself has been designed to the highest standards. It is of magnificent proportions, surrounded by footpaths and walkways with no steps anywhere in the grounds or building. The foyer is impressive with high ceilings finished in wood, plenty of natural light and views of the reception rooms. All corridors have handrails for added safety.

 

We now also have an enclosed garden where residents can enjoy the outdoors in a safe and beautiful environment. The lounge is specifically designed with recreational activities in mind, such as card games, bingo, musical entertainment and TV.

 

The atmosphere here is warm and comforting. The library is located next to the lounge where residents may read in peace or bring visitors for a chat. The conservatory is located at the end of the middle wing and overlooks extensive rolling countryside.

 

The Oratory is designed in greens - calming quiet colours to faciliate reflection and meditation. It will also provide for organised multidenominational woship and services. Mass will be celebrated weekly by local clergy.
